01Placing an Order
  • For international shipments, shipping fees will be charged in addition to the price of the item. As the items listed on our website are also available at our physical gallery, all transactions are processed on a first‑come, first‑served basis. We make every effort to update our inventory promptly; however, there may be a slight delay before changes are reflected online. We kindly ask for your understanding. For orders placed through our website, an “Order Confirmation” email will be sent once the availability of the item has been secured. (Shipping fees will be communicated separately.)

03Shipping of Artworks
  • Once payment has been completed, the artwork will be shipped via Japan Post EMS (Express Mail Service). After dispatch, we will send you a notification email containing the tracking number. Please note that any customs duties incurred upon entry into your country will be the responsibility of the recipient.

TENPYODO Installment Plan
  • You will first make an initial down payment, after which the remaining balance may be divided into installments to be paid over a period of either six months or one year, with the number of payments and amounts set at your discretion. The artwork will be released to you once the full balance has been paid.

ExampleIf a total of ¥500,000 is divided into three payments:
(Down payment) ¥200,000
(1st payment) ¥150,000
(2nd payment) ¥100,000

Regarding the Cancellation of Installment Payments
As a general rule, we are unable to accept mid‑term cancellations due to customer circumstances. However, if special circumstances are recognized, we will determine whether we can accommodate the request based on the following terms:
  •  *A cancellation fee equivalent to 30% of the amount paid up to the time of cancellation will be charged.
  •  *The remaining 70% of the paid amount, minus actual expenses such as credit card processing fees, will be refunded.
  •  *If payment is overdue for more than two months without prior agreement, the contract may be terminated.
Artwork Guarantee
– We guarantee the authenticity of the period, provenance, and other historical details described for each artwork. Should an authorized public appraisal institution determine that an item is not authentic, we will accept its return regardless of the time elapsed and refund the purchase price, shipping costs, and appraisal fees. (Please note that personal opinions offered by collectors or connoisseurs do not fall under this guarantee.)
– If the artwork does not meet your expectations—for example, if the impression differs from the photographs shown on our website—we will accept returns within one week of delivery. In such cases, the cost of outbound shipping, as well as any associated fees (including credit card processing fees, shipping insurance, and COD fees), along with the return shipping cost, shall be borne by the customer. Please note that returns for the purpose of temporary use, such as for tea gatherings, cannot be accepted.
– All artworks undergo strict inspection by our staff. If any damage or restoration not stated in the description is discovered, we will accept the return. Due to their age, antique artworks may exhibit characteristics and changes unique to their historical period, along with the natural patina developed over time. We strive to describe the condition of each piece in as much detail as possible, and we appreciate your understanding in this regard.
– We take the utmost care in packaging artworks using professional art‑handling methods and work closely with our shipping partners to ensure safe delivery. If any damage is found upon arrival, please contact us immediately. As claims may not be accepted after a certain period, we kindly ask that you inspect the contents promptly upon receipt.
– Please note that we are unable to accept returns in the following cases:
  •  *Items damaged while in the customer’s possession (excluding damage incurred during shipping).
  •  *Items that differ from the original purchase.
