Shobei Shimozuma

下間庄兵衛

初代下間庄兵衛は享保年間（1716～36）頃の京都の釜師です。
名を政勝といいます。
名越三典浄味に師事し、「京釜の名工」と称されました。
亨保年間以降は師の代作に務めたとされます。

2代下間庄兵衛は初代下間庄兵衛の子として生まれました。
名を味次といいます。
宝暦年間（1751～64）頃に活躍し、釜の鑑定家としても知られています。

3代下間庄兵衛は文化～文政年間（1804～30）頃に活躍し、
名を味宣、号を浄汲といいます。
