Risho Kato
加藤利昇
3代 加藤利昇 1946（昭和21）年生
3代加藤利昇は京都に生まれました。
16代永樂即全の絵付師として活躍した後、
1979（昭和54）年、3代加藤利昇を襲名しました。
1985（昭和60）年、京都伝統美術功労賞を受賞しました。
初代も2代も一般食器の染付を生業としていましたが、
茶道を学んで茶陶を志すようになり、
轆轤、染付、色絵、乾山、交趾等と様々な技法を独自で習得していきました。
しきたりと由緒を重んじる茶道は門戸の狭い世界であり、
この道を切り拓いていく事は並々ならぬ覚悟と苦労がありました。
千家の書付物も多く手掛ける京焼の名工として知られています。
