Kosometsuke Brazier with Design of Pine and Bamboo and Plum（Early 17th century）
This Kosometsuke was ordered by japanese master of tea ceremony as the brazier. The motif is the auspicious pine, bamboo, and plum design, and the thick appearance is full of a lively atmosphere. You can see from the sticker that the former owner used it as a tea bowl with great care. This is the actual work that was published in "Kosometsuke" published by Kyoto-shoin.
